About Judith

Judith, who was taught personally by the late Jock Ruddock, BRCP and his wife Ivana Ruddock, MVDr, BRCP, is now herself a qualified practitioner of the Equine Touch modality, holding a practitioner’s diploma in the Equine Touch since 2001. The first in Ireland!

Judith has had a keen interest in horses since childhood. She has successfully competed over the years in different spheres - NI Side Saddle Association events, NI Working Hunter Association events, SJI at national level, Ridden Hunter and in hand hunter classes at various County shows not to mention the 3yr loose jumping competitions. Her main interest is in the breeding and welfare of the Irish Sport Horse and enjoys breaking and competing her own youngstock, especially in showjumping. Prefixed by the name “Loughview” many of her horses can be spotted around the SJI circuit.

Judith also has a great love of dogs owning and breeding several Labrador retrievers, which are trained for retrieving. She has also been known to have a go at competing in a few gun dog tests!

Equi-touch will visit individual horses or stables to demonstrate the technique of the Equine Touch. Clinics are also arranged regularly if you wish to travel your horse. Rates are very reasonable – contact equi-touch for more details.
